1. Purpose

This Data Deletion Policy explains how CreateFame collects, stores, and deletes user data. We are committed to giving users control over their personal information and complying with privacy laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. User Rights to Deletion

Users have the right to request deletion of their personal data at any time. This includes:

• Account details (e.g., email, login information).

• User-generated content (transcripts, posts, images, scheduling data).

• Connected social media authentication tokens.

• Billing and transaction data (retained only as legally required for tax/accounting).

• Analytics and usage data linked to their account.

3. How to Request Data Deletion

Users can request data deletion by emailing us at: info@barrierebrekers.nl with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”.
To protect user privacy, we may require identity verification before fulfilling the request.

4. Deletion Process

Upon receiving a verified request:

• We will confirm receipt of the request within 7 business days.

• All personal data associated with the user’s account will be permanently deleted from our active databases within 30 days.

• Data stored in backups will be deleted during the next scheduled backup cycle, no later than 90 days from the original request.

• If we are legally required to retain certain billing or transactional information (e.g., for tax compliance), we will retain only what is necessary for that purpose and securely archive it.

5. Automatic Deletion

• Inactive accounts may be automatically deleted after 24 months of inactivity, following a 30-day notice email.

• Deleted accounts cannot be restored. Users wishing to use CreateFame again will need to register for a new account.

6. Third-Party Services

If your data was shared with third-party services (such as authentication providers, payment processors, analytics, or AI content services), we will notify these services of the deletion request where technically feasible.

7. Exceptions

We may retain certain information when it is necessary to:

• Comply with legal obligations.

• Resolve disputes or enforce agreements.

• Detect or prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.
